3D Platformer Prototype

A 3D platformer gameplay prototype built in Godot with C#.
Overview
The project focuses on character-controller programming, movement feel, camera behavior, animation integration, and small gameplay experiments.
The goal is to build responsive 3D platforming mechanics from a gameplay-programming perspective, while iterating on movement parameters and progressively introducing new mechanics and player states.
Features
- Camera-relative 3D movement
- Acceleration and deceleration
- Smooth character facing
- Third-person orbit camera
- Variable-height jumping
- Jump input buffering
- Size-changing gameplay power-up
Current Gameplay Experiment
The current prototype includes a size-changing mechanic that allows the player to smoothly shrink into a much smaller form.
The mechanic is intended to be used for traversal and exploration, such as accessing small passages or entrances that are difficult to notice or impossible to enter at normal size.
